Harry Potter fans in the Czech Republic will soon be able to experience the magic of the Wizarding World without traveling abroad, as Harry Potter: The Exhibition is officially coming to Prague this summer. The world’s largest Harry Potter touring exhibition will open on August 15, 2026, at PVA Expo Praha, transforming the venue into a massive interactive experience for fans of all ages. The exhibition has already seen successful runs in major European cities such as Munich and Vienna and will be fully translated into Czech, making it accessible for local visitors and families.

The exhibition is designed as an immersive journey rather than a traditional museum. Visitors will receive an RFID-enabled bracelet that allows them to personalize their experience by choosing their Hogwarts house, selecting a wand, and earning points through interactive activities. The event will feature original costumes and props used in the films, along with items from Fantastic Beasts and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Guests can also enjoy hands-on experiences such as brewing digital potions, practicing Quidditch, and sitting in a recreation of Hagrid’s giant armchair.

Organizers expect high demand, as similar exhibitions in nearby cities like Dresden and Budapest sold out quickly. Ticket sales are expected to begin soon through the Harry Potter Fan Club and major Czech ticket platforms, with early booking recommended. The Letňany venue offers the large-scale space required for the high-tech setup, covering between 2,000 and 4,000 square meters to accommodate interactive installations and themed galleries.

Since the first Czech translation of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone was published in 2000, the series has become one of the country’s most loved literary franchises, with millions of copies sold nationwide. The creative Czech translations, including localized names for Hogwarts and Quidditch, helped embed the Harry Potter universe deeply into Czech popular culture, making this exhibition one of the most anticipated cultural highlights of 2026.
