The first-ever Kingdom Come: Deliverance fan festival took place in Malešov near Kutná Hora, attracting 2,500 fans from across Europe and the U.S. The event combined gaming with medieval experiences – from live music and themed activities to talks by the developers of Czech studio Warhorse. Kutná Hora, one of the game’s main settings, saw a boost to its local economy as visitors stayed longer, enjoying restaurants, shops, and historical sites.
With the release of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II earlier this year, the festival also showcased how gaming tourism is turning Czech history into a global attraction.
