Czech crown jewels to return to Coronation Chamber
ahoy

The Czech crown jewels are being returned to their secure chamber in St. Vitus Cathedral at Prague Castle after being on public display in the Old Royal Palace.
The chamber can only be opened when all seven key holders are present: the president, the speakers of both parliamentary chambers, the prime minister, the Archbishop of Prague, the mayor of Prague, and the dean of the St. Vitus Metropolitan Chapter.
The tradition of displaying the jewels for the public began in 1929 to mark 1,000 years since the death of St. Wenceslas. Since the founding of the Czech Republic in 1993, the jewels have been shown just nine times.
