Requirements
ahoy consulting is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage our core accounting operations and ensure smooth financial processes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in GST filing, Tally, and Zoho Books, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and compliance requirements. This role involves managing daily bookkeeping, financial reporting, and assisting in audits and tax filings.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting operations using Zoho Books and Tally.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
Handle GST filing, TDS, and statutory compliance activities.
Perform bank reconciliations, journal entries, and maintain general accounts.
Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial statements.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary data and reports.
Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely processing.
Coordinate with vendors, clients, and management for financial documentation.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in a professional setting.
Strong working knowledge of Zoho Books, Tally, and MS Excel.
Good understanding of GST, TDS, and general accounting standards.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
